Chris Landers of Fandedded recently presented a successful commercial idea that would send the Stars of the Minnesota Willi Castro, Danny Coulombe and Jhoan Duran twins in the New York Yankees in exchange for Carlos Lagrange prospects, from Cam Schlitter, Rafael Flores and Roderick Arias.
“Go ahead or go home. It seems more and more unlikely that the Cleveland Guardians separate from Emmanuel Clase, which means that Jhoan Duran becomes the best arm that could potentially be available on this year’s deadline,” Landers wrote. “Duran’s Combination of Wipeout Stuff (From His Triple-Digit Heater to His High-90s Splinker) and Years of Team Control Make Him An Awfully Enticing Addition. And AS It Happens, he’s not the only links minnesota Could Dangle Over the Next Few Days: Agency this Offseason and has a 0.93 era on the year, handling lefties and righties with equal aplomb.

“What could he take to bring them both to the Bronx? Several prospects of the top 100 to be the bar for Duran alone, so New York must probably include brilliant young weapons like Lagrange and Schlittler, each having been sensational this year.”
Would it make sense for both sides? There is a lot to unpack here.
For Yankees, these three additions would fill some of the most important holes in the list in a huge way. The addition of Duran would consolidate the Backend of the Yankees enclosure as one of the best units in baseball. The addition of Coulombe in the agreement would make their enclosures of the lifts as dangerous as any other.
Castro would work well as a versatile championship player. After adding Ryan McMahon, the Yankees do not need to trade against an additional field player, but Castro would help the team as a depth piece.
The twins do not need to sell aggressively like that, but with the return of the perspective in question, they would be forced to listen. However, it remains quite unlikely that Minnesota would pack all these players in a single offer rather than send them to several teams in separate trades.
