Nothing, a new technology brand from the UK that makes products like phones, smart watchesAnd headphoneshas quickly become one of my favorites as of late. Its products offer unique features and designs and the prices are competitive. Right now, Nothing’s latest budget-friendly over-ear headphones, released in October, the CMF Headphone Pros, are just $79 (originally $99), the lowest price ever for the product, according to price tracking tools. These are a great option for anyone looking to get budget-friendly over-ear headphones that punch above their weight.
Much like Nothing’s CMF Buds Pro 2, the CMF Headphone Pros are budget-friendly earbuds that punch above their weight. They’re an affordable alternative to the popular Headphone 1 (which will cost you $299) and are the first to integrate seamlessly into the Nothing/CMF ecosystem, including smart phones, watchesAnd other audio products. There’s a companion app Nothing
There’s a multifunction wheel on one side of the headset that you can roll to adjust the volume or press to control the ANC modes, which include Adaptive ANC (real-time cancellation/transparency adjustment) and Spatial Audio (creates an immersive 3D soundstage for music/movies). On the other side, you’ll find an “Energy Slider” that adjusts your sound in real time, instantly adjusting the balance of treble and bass. You get an impressive 100 hours of battery life on a single charge (reduced to 50 hours with ANC enabled) as well as AAC, SBC, and LDAC support. They have an IPX2 sweat resistance rating and feature a 3.5mm audio jack for wired listening.
What do you think of it so far?
Nothing is well known for its minimalist design, but these headphones take it a step further by letting you mix and match earbuds in different colors (they sell for $25). This is a good option for those looking for a budget-friendly over-ear headphone that is boldly styled, has great battery life and beats its price point.
