Here is a story that a TPM reader has just pointed out to me, which seems to somehow banal in the Trump II era, but would be comical and unreal in an unusual time. “A senior State Department official who supervised recent mass dismissals now takes over as the actor of the General Services Administration, according to an email sent to the staff.” The article, that Federal News Network has published breaking information with details to follow, explains that Michael Rigas, assistant secretary of state management and resources, was personally ordered by Donald Trump to take over as GSA actor, while the head of actor who has just been relief will remain as a chief of the Deputy GSA.
