British pop-punk star Yungblud has canceled his remaining 2025 tour dates after his doctor adamantly told him to stay home, scuttling November concerts in Cleveland, Philadelphia and Washington, DC.

“My doctor ordered me to take a break from touring until the end of the year,” Yungblud said on social media on Saturday. Also planned are a handful of shows in Mexico City and elsewhere in Latin America.

The 28-year-old singer and actor said that during his regular check-up after the final leg of his Idols World Tour, “my voice and blood tests raised some concerns.” The warning stopped him.

“It’s in my nature to run and run until I collapse without caring about anything except the music and you guys, but this time I was told I had to take it seriously and I couldn’t mess around,” Yungblud, whose first name is Dominic Harrison, told fans.

Although the Doncaster, England native didn’t specify any health concerns beyond that, he’s been particularly busy lately. In 2024, he launched the Bludfest music festival and published a bestselling book, “You Need to Exist: A Book to Love and Destroy!” » This year saw the documentary “Yungblud: Are You Ready, Boy?” who followed him on his Idols tour. “One More Time,” his collaboration with Aerosmith, is due out Friday. To top it all off, last month the artist added 24 North American shows to his Idols tour for 2026.

“My heart is broken,” Yungblud said in his statement. “I don’t want to cause myself any lasting damage. We are on a journey that I want to last forever. I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know that this is so hard for me to do but I promise you, I will make it up to you.”

In addition to refunding all tickets, Yungblud said he would send a gift to anyone who shared his address.

“I never take loving support or energy from anyone for granted,” he wrote. “You know you’re everything to me. But I need this time.”
