Zendaya and Law Roach have done it again! The dream duo just made a masterful move in the game of fashion by replicating an iconic dress that was part of not one, but two major moments in pop culture history.
The queen of method dressing is finally returning to form following a few well-deserved months out of the spotlight. She’s about to premiere two projects back-to-back: A24’s The Drama, in which she stars opposite Robert Pattinson, and season 3 of Euphoria, which will drop on April 3 and April 12, respectively.
Ahead of both premieres (and press tours), Zendaya attended ESSENCE’s 2026 Black Women in Hollywood Awards as one of the guests of honor. The 29-year-old arrived at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles in a look that paid tribute to Whitney Houston and Carrie Bradshaw simultaneously.

Roach managed to source the minidress from Caché—featuring a discreet slit, asymmetrical one-shoulder neckline, and a sculptural hibiscus flower with gold appliqué—from Amacord Vintage. The pair finished the look with classic stilettos and Cartier jewelry.
Zendaya’s curly bixie, which she first debuted last week at the Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week, was the perfect complement to the vintage vibe. She kept her makeup feeling slightly early ’00s as well, with an emphasis on silky skin, subtle contouring, shimmery but defined eyes, crisp brows, and a glossy lip.
