New York City voters are continuing down the path of electing a self-avowed communist who wants to “seize the means of production” and defund the police for “queer liberation” as their mayor. You can take a wild guess how well that’s going to work out, but sometimes lessons can only be learned the hard way, and even then, perhaps not at all.
Zoharn Mamdani recently bragged about only having $2,000 in his bank account, because nothing is smarter than putting a nepo-baby man-child who can’t manage his finances (and is likely supported by his wealthy parents) in charge of one of the world’s largest economies. He’s also got less than ideal thoughts on the Fourth of July.

These types of messages from people who actually can’t stand America are so predictable. It’s like a rite of passage for left-wing politicians. Whatever praise for the country they do offer is always immediately contradicted by statements of disapproval. In this case, the idea is that America is “contradictory” and “unfinished.”
It is neither of those things. America is consistently a beacon of freedom in the world, doing more good and helping more people than any other nation in history. That imperfections exist does not dictate contradiction. No matter the claims from left-wing ideologues who build their careers by segmenting and dividing the country, America is still a land of opportunity and equality for everyone. It is not an unfinished husk in need of a communist to “protect and deepen our democracy.”

Keep in mind, Mamdani has only been an American citizen for six years. Yet he pretends to be an authority on what America is and how it should be. It’s an unseemly amount of arrogance from a man who has never even held a real job unless you count his failed rap career (no, I’m not joking). That he also falsely claimed to be black in a bid to get into Columbia University doesn’t exactly speak well of his character either.
Mamdani is a dishonest, antisemitic grifter who is so deranged that he defended members of Al Qaeda. He has no expertise. He has no abilities. He does not speak for America. He would be a disaster for New York City and the country, given the economic influence at play.
