To Drive AI Adoption, Build Your Team’s Product Management Skills

Much of the discussion about how to work effectively with generative AI has focused on rapid engineering or, more recently, contextual engineering: the semi-technical skill of creating input so that large language models produce useful output. These skills are useful, but they are only part of the story. The real reward comes when employees learn to apply generative AI in their daily work in ways that improve the way they work. This requires defining valuable problems within workflows, evaluating possible solutions, rapidly experimenting, and integrating new practices sustainably into daily work – disciplines that are at the heart of the work of product managers.
