2 dead, 3 wounded in shooting in southern West Virginia

A sheriff says that a shooting in southern West Virginia left two dead, includes an alleged shooter and that three others were injured

Mount Carbon, W.VA. – A shooting in southern Virginia-Western killed two dead on Monday, including an alleged shooter, as well as three other injured, said the police.

The sheriff of the county of Fayette, Jess McMullen, said that the shooting had taken place in Mount Carbon. Police found the alleged shooter who died inside his residence of a self-inflicted ball injury, while another person was found dead in a neighboring shelter.

Three other people suffered minor ball injuries and received medical care, McMullen on the media told.

The identity of the dead was not immediately released.

An opinion for residents to stay inside was then lifted.
