Production of the 2026 Honda Pioneer 1000 Deluxe is officially underway at the company’s South Carolina Manufacturing (SCM) plant. 700 Honda employees and associates were invited to the party, all in attendance at the 850,000 square foot factory to see the UTVs begin rolling down the production line.

As a reminder, the 2026 Pioneer 1000 stands out with a healthy redesign for the new model year. The big news is the new Pioneer 1000 Deluxe model, which features revised styling and a new throttle-by-wire setup (ditching the throttle-by-wire setup it previously used). It also benefits from the modular “Pro-Connect” loading platform, as well as improved comfort and quality of life.
Production is currently underway at the Timmonsville, South Carolina facility. Parts for the machines come from domestic and international companies, but the entire device was designed and developed in Georgia and Ohio.
“Today is a proud moment for South Carolina Manufacturing, for our Powersports business and, most importantly, for the associates who made this day possible,” said Travis Lee, SCM Site Manager. “The product we are celebrating today represents the next chapter in our side-by-side business, and once again, that chapter is being written right here in Timmonsville.”
Lee added: “We don’t just make products here…we set the standard for quality, safety and workmanship that customers around the world have come to expect from Honda. This is happening because of the dedication of our associates across all of our teams and every support function that has touched this vehicle. Launching a new model takes discipline…it takes collaboration…and he takes pride in doing things the right way, every day.
Deliveries of the 2026 Pioneer 1000 Deluxe are expected to begin in May.
