Nowadays, trying to choose a robot vacuum cleaner is a daunting task. There is tons brands, and determining which features actually work (and which are just hype) is difficult, especially on a limited budget. So when Mashable senior reporter Leah Stodart tested the relatively unknown 3i G10+ and called it “the most impressive robot vacuum under $500,” we paid attention. And right now it’s on sale for even less.
As of October 24, the 3i G10+ Robot Vacuum and Mop is on sale for $269.99, down from $449.99 on Amazon. That’s a 40% discount, $180 in savings, and the lowest price we’ve seen since launch.

What sets this one apart, especially in terms of price, is how it handles dirt removal. Instead of needing one of those giant self-emptying towers, the G10+ compacts debris into its own trash can. This means you may only need to empty it every couple of months, and the charging station is small enough to hide under furniture. Stodart also found its mapping to be very clever: it uses LiDAR and can even determine which rooms are bedrooms or bathrooms based on furniture.
It has strong suction (18,000 Pa), uses AI to spot the dirtiest areas and adjust cleaning, handles carpets well and avoids most obstacles. “The only time I really saw debris left behind was when I intentionally spilled a giant pile of rice on the kitchen floor, and the G10+ removed about 90% of it in two passes,” Stodart writes in his review.

The mopping feature isn’t very fancy, but it does have a small spinning-edge mop that Stodart said detailed the wall where his bathroom floor and shower meet “pretty well.”
It also has a live camera, which is rare for vacuums at this price. “I’ve never seen one on a robot vacuum that costs less than $1,000, let alone $500,” she wrote. “It seems ridiculously unnecessary at first, but I know pet owners understand the value of being able to monitor their pets remotely.”
