Although nothing can beat the big screen and surround a sound experience that accompanies cinema, it is undeniable that it is an expensive experience these days. This is why it is logical to maximize your Netflix subscription by looking as much as possible.

To help you get there, I selected five fantastic films that are all available to broadcast on Netflix at the moment.

HAPPY Gilmore

Adam Sandler has a specific guy of comedy that does not always shine (I look at you, Adults), but HAPPY Gilmore is one of the success. Sandler plays the eponymous character, an ice hockey player who takes his problems of mass and anger in the golf course, aimed at earning enough money to repay his grandmother’s debts. Along the way, he goes up professional golfers and falls into the golf tour, Virginia Venit (Julie Bowen).

Christopher McDonald is great as an arrogant golfer shooter McGavin, just like Carl Weathers as a Happy coach. It is a very silly film – there is a scene with the host of combat game game Happy Bob Barker, after all – but it also has a heart. This is the type of film that is perfect to watch a lazy afternoon. If you want more shenanigans, Netflix recently released Happy Gilmore 2Although your pleasure may depend if you have a nostalgia for the original.

Uncommon

Joe Scaravella is a real chef who founded Enoteca Maria, an Italian restaurant in New York who employs grandmothers as chefs. He was opened in honor of his late mother and designed to bring the guests back to their childhood. Uncommon tell the story of Scaravella. Vince Vaughn is the head, giving a more subtle performance than in the comedies with which he found glory. Besides him, talented actors like Lorraine Bracco, Talia Shire and Susan Sarandon, to name only a few.

It is a comforting story, but it never becomes Schmaltzy; The chemistry between distribution is what really makes this sizzle, alongside a healthy portion of sweet humor. Of course, you have already seen variations in this story of the oppressed, and that will not impress you, but it is not the point – it is a vision of well -being that will not only appreciate the food but also the love that goes there. Look at it with your family and prepare it after a large bowl of pasta afterwards.

But I think RomaHis 2018 semi-autobiographical film deserves more than deserving. This is not exactly a controversial statement, Mind – It was the first original streaming film to be nominated for the best film at the Academy Awards.

Roma Take place in Mexico City in the early 1970s, about a young woman called Cleo (Yalitza Aparicio, in her first performance) who works as a maid for a middle -class family and finds her life shaken. It is presented in evocative black and white, which helps clear and striking blows. And while the film feels precisely conceived, it does not lose any emotion because of this. Instead, Roma is deep and moving, and I find something new to appreciate every time I return.

Mad Max: Fury Road

The original Mad The trilogy is decent, but it was not until 2015 Fury road That I thought that the franchise is really mounted in grandeur. Tom Hardy takes up the role of Mel Gibson, lending the incredible character of intensity and presence. He teams up with the warrior equally worthy of Charlize Theron, Imperator Furiosa, while the couple tries to escape the ruthless grip of Immortan Joe, a bad sovereign who commands a group of soldiers called The War Boys.

Fury road is a non-stop madness in the best possible way, with high octane action sequences that remain impressive a decade later. It takes place in a post -apocalyptic desert, what you might think was done to death, but the visuals are anything but generics – care has been applied at all levels, from costumes to vehicles, and everything meets to create something special.

Netflix always adds new programs and films, which means there is a lot to keep you busy. Everything is not golden, of course, that is why I will be back next week with five other films that deserve your time.
