But your personal use of the iPhone could contribute to the battery discharge. Apple has said that certain new features may need more resources to work, so depending on the quantity you use your iPhone, you can “notice a small impact on performance and / or battery life”.

Thus, although your device can undergo an additional battery discharge at the start, it should be a temporary problem after downloading iOS 26. If you find that you use your iPhone more after downloading iOS 26, this could also contribute to the emptying of your battery.
