Hailey Bieber’s Leopard Print Bag Solves This Winter’s Biggest Styling Conundrum
Gone are the days of throwing skinny jeans into a pair of riding boots and throwing on a chunky sweater, so my first instinct was to immediately panic buy this chic Zara skort and bomber jacket to create an all-brown version of my typical uniform. Unfortunately, the cost per wear of these items will be quite low if I continue to avoid mixing brown and black based on the outdated fashion guidelines burned into my brain all along.
Enter Hailey Bieber, who recently stepped out at Sushi Park in Los Angeles wearing a tan suede trench coat with an all-black outfit and a Mercedes-Benz baseball cap, bringing the entire look together with the ultimate neutral asset: a leopard-print bag.
Not only is leopard print neutral (according to my mom), but the pattern itself is often made up of different shades of brown and black, instantly tying together opposing pieces like Bieber’s black satin pants and suede trench coat.
The same could easily be said of my cozy black Vuori coat that makes me feel like an Olsen twin and my brand new brown suede boots. Honestly, I don’t know why it took me so long to figure out this clothing equation.
