WASHINGTON– President Donald Trump announced Sunday that he will release the results of his MRI test he received in October.

“If you want it made public, I will,” the president said in an exchange with reporters as he returned to Washington from Florida.

He said the MRI results were “perfect.”

The White House has so far refused to detail why Trump had an MRI during his physical last month, or on what part of his body.

Press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the president received “advanced imaging” at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center “as part of his routine physical exam” and that the results showed Trump remained in “exceptional physical health.”

Trump added Sunday that he had “no idea” what part of his body he had an MRI on.

“It was just an MRI,” he said. “What part of the body? It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and I passed it.”
