Indiana Republicans are wasting their energy fighting President Donald Trump and their own governor over redistricting. You’d be forgiven for thinking the GOP is allergic to winning.
Currently, Indiana’s congressional map gives the Republican Party seven seats, compared to two seats for the Democrats. The redrawn map could deliver nine seats to Republicans — if it can pass the state Senate. State Senate President Pro Tempore Rodric Bray is skeptical, although the Republican Party enjoys a majority in the Senate.
