What’s New on Netflix in January 2026

Netflix’s January lineup is lighter, but includes the return of period romance series The Bridgerton Chronicles (January 29). The fourth season centers on Benedict, the second eldest brother, and Sophie, whom he meets at Lady Bridgerton’s masquerade ball. The first four episodes are released in January and the other four at the end of February.

Another original series to watch is Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials (January 15), an adaptation of an author’s detective novel The mystery of the seven dials. Mia McKenna-Bruce plays detective Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent, who attempts to solve a murder mystery at a country house party in 1920s England. Martin Freeman and Helena Bonham Carter also star.

Cinema side, rom-com People we meet on vacation (January 9) is an adaptation of Emily Henry’s novel of the same name and stars Tom Blyth and Emily Bader. The tear (January 16) is an action thriller starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon as Miami cops who discover millions of dollars in cash in a stash house.

Netflix also releases true crime documentary Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart (January 21) about the 2002 kidnapping of the 14-year-old girl from her Salt Lake City home and her return several years later.

In addition to hosting the WWE Monday Night Raw every week, Netflix also broadcasts Skyscrapers live (January 23), in which free solo climber Alex Honnold will attempt one of the world’s tallest skyscrapers in Taipei, Taiwan.
