Margot Robbie’s Low-Maintenance ‘Brontë Blonde’ is Peak Spring Hair Inspo

Margot Robbie has officially left Barbieland behind her and all the icy blonde dye jobs that came with it. Robbie’s current color was created by Schwarzkopf Professional’s American Hair Color Trend Ambassador, Jacob Schwartz, who was also responsible for her brighter “Barbie blonde” press tour looks. “When I highlight, it’s all about strategic placement of light and shadow; (I think of it like a painting),” he recently shared on Instagram, referring to a similar color treatment to Robbie’s. “Keep depth within while brightening around the face and where natural light (or flash) hits. Give hair shine, movement and dimension.”
While she would fit perfectly in a period piece, blonde Brontë also aligns with some of the biggest color trends of the year. “In 2026, hair color is moving toward rich, natural shades,” says celebrity stylist Nick Stenson. Charm. “Think warm blondes paired with low-maintenance techniques like balayage and ombre roots.”
