This is the first successful vertical takeoff of a reaction flying humanoid robot, developed by artificial and mechanical intelligence (friend) to Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). The robot has lifted ~ 50 cm from the ground while maintaining dynamic stability, thanks to advanced AI -based control systems and aerodynamic modeling.

We will have much more about this in the coming weeks!
[Nature] via [IIT]As a first step towards our mission to deploy robots for general use, we push the borders of what IA models from start to finish can achieve in the real world. We have formed models and evaluated their capacities for sensorimotor policies dextured through different modes of realization, environments and physical interactions. We share demonstrations of capacity on tasks highlighting different aspects of manipulation: fine engine control, spatial and temporal precision, generalization between robots and parameters, and robustness with external disturbances.

[Ground Control Robotics]Teleoperation has existed for some time, but what has not been is precise and in real time. This is where Flexiv intervenes to make things happen. Now, whether you are on the other side of the room or around the world, you can feel a transparent and high fidelity remote manipulation with a feeling of contact.

This kind of thing generally takes on human training, for which you would be better served by robot weapons with specific and real -time comments. Hmm, I wonder where you will find them …?
[Flexiv]The 1x world model is a data -based simulator for humanoid robots built with an anchored understanding of physics. It allows us to predict – or “hallucinate” – the results of Neo’s actions before being taken in the real world. Using the world model 1x, we can instantly assess the performance of AI models – compressing development time and providing a clear reference for continuous improvement.

[1X]Slapbot is an interactive robotic work by Hooman Samani and Chandler Cheng, exploring the dynamics of physical interaction, the artificial agency and power. The installation includes a robotic arm equipped with a soft and inflatable hand which provides slaps by pneumatic action, transforming a visceral human gesture into a programmed robotic response.

I asked, of course, if Slapbot slaps people, and he does not do it: “Despite his provocative concept and evocative design, Slapbot does not make physical contact with human participants. He simulates slap the gesture without offering a real strike. The movements of the robotic arm are precisely choreographed to suggest the act, but it maintains a safe distance. ”
[SLAPBOT]Thank you, Hooman!
Inspecting the bowels of ships is something that we would really like the robots to do for us, please and thank you.

H2L Corporation (hereinafter referred to as H2L) has unveiled a new product called “interface capsule”, which transmits movements and an entire body force, allowing new experiences shared with robots and avatars. A product introduction video representing synchronization never known by humans has also been published.

[Adaptive Robotics Controls Lab]This video shows a heavy goods vehicle test using the Dex Armstrong robot, focusing on a 40 kg biceps curl movement. Armstrong Dex is a hydraulic dual -arm robot of human size currently under development at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (Kaeri) for applications for disasters. Designed to perform tasks in a flexible way as a human while providing high power, Armstrong Dex is capable of managing complex operations in dangerous environments.
