Kendall Jenner Embraces Granny Print for Spring 2026

You’ve probably seen a pattern like the one on Kendall Jenner’s jacket, probably on your grandmother’s curtains, or maybe on an old couch in the basement. But who knew that grandma style had the ability to be so chic? Kendall Jenner, that’s who. Yep, granny print is about to be everywhere this spring.
The 30-year-old model was photographed eating sushi with her sister Kylie Jenner in West Hollywood on February 10. For the outing, Jenner chose this dark velvet jacket with a moody pattern of dark pink and purple roses and trimmed with fur. It looks like a vintage L’est Rose faux fur duffle coat.

With such a statement to boot, Jenner kept the rest of the look relatively low-key. She added straight jeans and black ballet flats, along with simple black sunglasses. Didn’t your grandmother always tell you that less is more?
Jenner’s duffle coat is a bit of a revival of the Penny Lane coat, which started to be trendy again in 2024. Named in honor of Kate Hudson’s character in Almost FamousThe Penny Lane coat is often light or dark brown suede, but its most defining feature is the (hopefully faux) fur around the collar, cuffs and hem. But while the Penny Lane tends to be longer, usually falling at least to the knee and often mid-calf, Jenner’s jacket hits at the waist.
But the really trendy element of Jenner’s jacket isn’t the fur; that’s the impression. Granny prints – oversized flowers in dark, even downright ugly colors – are popping up everywhere. Suki Waterhouse demonstrated a way to wear this trend at the premiere of Die my love in November, with her corset dress from Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection.
