Women’s 2026 NCAA tournament odds: UConn odds-on favorite; UCLA, Texas, South Carolina next

The UConn Huskies will enter women’s March Madness as the favorite to win a record 13th national championship. Geno Auriemma’s team had a -270 chance to win it all when the bracket was revealed, the shortest odds for a pre-tournament favorite since 2018, which was also the last time UConn was favored for the Big Dance.
There’s a considerable gap to the next team, the UCLA Bruins, who are +550 to win the NCAA tournament. The SEC dominates the next four spots between Texas (+700), South Carolina (+800), LSU (16-1, open 14-1) and Vanderbilt (50-1). Duke (75-1) and Michigan (80-1) round out the teams with a record less than 100-1.
UConn, UCLA and South Carolina have been crowd favorites throughout the season, garnering a combined 57.4% of futures on BetMGM. These teams’ low odds throughout the season won’t cause many headaches at sportsbooks, but BetMGM is reporting liability on Michigan and Vanderbilt.
