Which E-Readers I’d Recommend Buying in Amazon’s Spring Sale

This is the older Kindle Scribe, but the price and features are the best you can get, especially when it’s on sale like this one. I’ll still opt for this model even if I own the most recent third generation, and keep in mind that the second generation will also benefit from some of the newer software and experiences over time. With the sale, it’s half the price of the newer model.
If you’re already a Kindle reader and want to upgrade, it’s probably because you want a new feature like a color screen. While the Kobo above is the better buy, if you want to stay within the Kindle ecosystem but add color to your books, the Colorsoft and Colorsoft Signature are on sale.
If you’re looking to spend as little as possible, the base Kindle (11th generation) is still a great e-reader and currently costs less than $100. It can do almost everything other Kindles can do (except the Scribe) on a vivid black and white screen. It also doesn’t have a warm front light, but it’s still a great buy for the price.
