We did it. They said it couldn’t be done. But they are a bunch of losers.

The training camp season has arrived through the NFL, which means that we will have stable football ™ things daily in the next six to seven months. Who has better than us, Jim (or John) Harbaugh?

With the camps that launched things that will start rolling as indicated, but many of these things will answer the questions we look forward to answering. The offseason of the off -season means that we had to sit on our hands and guess certain questions without any data or discernible means of answering them.

It ends now.

These are the questions we here at Skinny Post, Michael Peterson and RJ Ochoa, are very impatient to resolve.

To what extent will Travis Hunter be used in both directions?

RJ:

Remember when the Jacksonville jaguars exchanged to write the winner of Heisman and one of the most prolific double sense players that we have ever seen? It was only a few months ago!

The role of Travis Hunter in the NFL is and has always been something that we look forward to seeing and we will finally get it (granted on a small scale). It is important to note that we cannot read too much, not much in this sense at all, in what is happening throughout the training camp, especially for a recruit, but there will be a lot of eyes on the number of shots that Hunter will record both in the wide receiver and in the corner.

Various NFL assessors predicted as to the place where they play Hunter and how they would approach their skills at the professional level.

New Jaguars head coach Liam Cohen (Duuuuuval) is about to show us his opinion.

Michael:

I am super curious to know how its number of snaps will take place during the season.

Travis Kelce was recently on an episode of the Podcast “Bussin ‘With The Boys” where the hosts asked him questions on Travis Hunter and how he plans teams that seek to minimize his impact on games. Kelce has not lost time to note that if he was the offensive coordinator of a team in front of him at the corner, they would run GO roads again and again on him, that they planned to launch the ball in this way or not. The point here being that if this single player should play in both directions, you make sure that their shots are filled with racing.

I think it’s super obvious and each team should try to do something like that. Playing in the NFL is already difficult. Imagine having to cover deep passes below and down before switching to the offensive and executing deeper routes? It seems absolutely horrible.

I think that as soon as possible, Hunter will start to look much more in one side of football, especially if the opposing teams find ways to hear on Sunday.

Is the current charger room capable of overcoming the sudden retreat of Mike Williams?

Michael:

The loss of Mike Williams retired just when the training camp was underway was not expected. After a Ho-Hum season with the jets and the steelers in 2024, the meeting with the loads seemed to be the thing for Williams to put his career on the right track after the tear of the LCA 2023 which he had suffered.

Los Angeles needs help with X Receiver. They needed a large body to isolate on one side while giving Justin Herbert a receiver with which he has already proven chemistry. The idea was that Williams would not have to be the WR1 of the team this time either. Ladd McConkey is now that Guy and Williams could simply play his role without the need to produce the enormous counting of the snapshots that really seemed to eat in his body in recent seasons.

Unfortunately, a new injury he suffered earlier this spring was just a backwards that he was not willing to fight. And I don’t blame it at all.

But now, the bolts are again one of the youngest receptor groups in the NFL. McConkey enters the 2nd year and the recruit Tre Harris is now ready for a more important role in the doors. Behind these two are the third year receiver Quentin Johnston, the gadget player Dérius Davis and the veteran companion Jalen Reagor.

I don’t know how he will play. I am surprised that reacts does not browse as much this team as he is obtained and Johnston is still not the safe player that the team needs him. Maybe things will be very different when the season begins, but right now, this group does not seem good enough for what Herbert needs at this stage of his career.

RJ:

With all the respect due to Mike Williams, I do not know how it is a big problem for loaders.

Obviously, they would have (clearly) preferred to do so, but I would offer that if they depended on him to be the manufacturer of difference in the offense this season, they made this off -season in a mediocre manner. Justin Herbert quickly falls into the territory “his team does not do enough to help him” and see the names of the receivers with which he must work with the point.

The charges attracted a certain benefit of the doubt last year, but I think it is an important season for them in terms of establishment that they are a real team and not only a vehicle for the funny quotes of Jim Harbaugh.

Mike Williams was not going to make a huge difference in this effort in my mind.

Where is obvious trouble (which we do not see) hides)?

RJ:

Cards on the table here … There are a lot of moons, I predicted that Zac Taylor was the first head coach drawn during the season. This was sadly famous before the 2021 campaign where the Bengals of Cincinnati defeated the Kansas City chiefs in Arrowhead en route to their loss of Super Bowl against the Rams. My fault.

Recognizing that I was not mistaken and that many things happened … Bengals are somehow notorious for the poor departures under Taylor (in the Joe Burrow era). They started Three rights The seasons 0-2 and last year even dropped their third match as well.

It is obviously the training camp and not the week 1, but I imagine that it is in a way in the mind of Taylor and all the people involved. Bengals finally took care of Ja’mar Chase and also stopped being silly with Tee Higgins. They have one of the most dynamic nuclei of offensive players in the whole league and would be a dream for the next potential candidate to take over.

Bengals have not missed the playoffs for three seasons in a row since before the arrival of Burrow. In a way, I have the impression (again, certainly) that it could be a more rocky situation which does not meet it originally.

Have I mentioned that their first-round choice is still not under contract?!

Michael:

I do not know exactly how much I think that the coach seat of Zac Taylor enters the 2025 season, but I could easily see the temperature increase considerably depending on how the season begins and ends.

If the Bengals start the year 0-2 or 0-3, the Boo Birds will come out and call for his work. If they recover from this and, once again, push for a place in the playoffs – and ultimately fail to make the playoffs – calls for work will be incessant. They cannot simply settle them and go to the 2026 off -season. Something should happen and jobs will probably be lost.

It is really playoffs or busts for the current Bengal regime, in my opinion.

Will Cam Ward be better without a quarter competition during the training camp?

Michael:

The news announced on Monday morning that the quarter of the Titans Will Levis will undergo a shoulder operation to solve a throbbing problem that disturbed it for most of the past year. Reports also confirmed that surgery will force him to miss all 2025 when he is rehabilitated for a better long-term future in 2026 and beyond.

This news also means that the first Pick Cam Ward in 2025 will not have to cross a quarter battle during the training camp this year. Ward had not yet been appointed the starter despite his draft niche and the wait was for him to win him in camp against Levis, who was the team’s starter in 2024.

My question is therefore whether the quarter -back competition – or its absence – will be beneficial for Ward before its recruit season or the opposite.

I think that if I had to choose one side, I go with the fact that it is an advantage for its short -term success with the titans. The choice n ° 1 is delivered with expectations and I would not want a battle either. Yes, sometimes these situations force a player to block themselves and not to take it for granted, but if Ward is not the type of player not to put the work whatever his situation, then it is not the guy that the titans hoped to write in the first place.

RJ:

I always thought it was silly every time a team tried to put on a front that the veteran QB X was a serious threat to the best recruit which was either a first round choice, or the number 1 in total.

If Will Levis, of which I am rooted, was a serious threat to the potential of Cam Ward as a Starter of the Titans … Ward would not have been written in the first place. We are all able to see and understand this basic principle and that includes Ward itself.

Personally, I hesitate to call it a good or a bad thing, but in the end, I think it is positive to go ahead with everyone recognizing that the Cam Ward era is here and not do something else.
