Stephen Colbert challenges Obama to a tense Wordle race

Not intending to simply beat the former president at Wastepaper basketball (twice), Stephen Colbert also challenged him to a Wordle race during their recent interview.

In the clip above, the two sit in near silence while trying to complete the puzzle. Obama manages to get it in three, while Colbert claims to have achieved it in two – although some on-screen text suggests he actually cheated to achieve victory.

Obama’s response? “You seem determined, every time I go on the show, to exert your superiority in one way or another.”
