European FMs demand Israel do more to alleviate Gaza starvation
The United Kingdom, Germany and Foreign Ministers of Spain reacted with mitigated opinions to Israel’s decision to establish secure corridors for humanitarian aid in Gaza.
The United Kingdom, Germany and Spain, the foreign ministers reacted with opinions mixed with the Israeli government’s decision to establish secure corridors in order to transport humanitarian aid through the Gaza Strip.
British Foreign Minister David Lammy told Reuters that the decision would not be sufficient to combat the crisis. “Israel’s temporary break allowed help corridors that do not reduce the needs of those who suffer desperately in Gaza,” he said.
Johann Wadephul, German Minister of Foreign Affairs, posted on his account X (formerly Twitter) that Israel follows “the steps in the right direction”.

“They are the result of my many direct conversations and my clear requests in recent days. At the same time, the situation in Gaza remains unbearable. The aid must now arrive safely, entirely and reliably, and Hamas must finally release the hostages. A full cease-fire is required,” he said.
Spain publicly denounces Israel, calls for “free passage from all humanitarian aid”
Jose Manuel Albares, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, was more critical of the Israeli decision, saying that the Spanish International Cooperation Agency was ready to provide aid everywhere in Gaza and announced that the Spanish government would publicly denounce Israel.
“Our cooperation agency is ready to send everything to Gaza. Tomorrow, we will denounce famine and death in Gaza, asking for a Palestinian state and a two-state solution. Famine induced in Gaza is a shame,” he posted on X.
“The daily death of hunger: 100,000 children and 40,000 babies at risk of death. Israel must allow the permanent, uninterrupted and free passage from all the humanitarian aid required. ”
Israel will allow foreign countries to help departures from Gaza to Gaza
The FDIs have announced that it will allow foreign countries to leave aid to the Gaza Strip, the radio army reported on Friday, citing a senior military source.
