A series of free online sessions led by GP is organized so that residents of Surrey are strengthened on women’s health problems.

The next webinar will take place on Tuesday evening and will discuss polycystic ovary syndrome, premenstrual syndrome and premenstrual dysphoric disorder.

Later this year, there will be three other meetings to discuss endometriosis, fertility, cervical screening and menopause.

Vicky Williams, Associate Director for Women and Children of the Surrey Heartlands Intergraded system, said that she hoped that the sessions would sensitize the conditions.

“We are really delighted to be able to offer these free informative sessions to public members to help inform the conditions that affect the life of many of us every day,” she said.

The following webinars are planned for the coming months:

  • September: Endometriosis, heavy menstrual bleeding in adolescence.
  • October: Fertility and cervical screening
  • November: menopause

Webinaries are open to everyone and are led by a general practitioner, who will also answer questions.

People can register for the event via the Trust website.
