Anthros Chair V2 Review: Surprisingly Great

It’s rare for Me to continue sitting on a chair, I review well after I gave it enough test time. Usually, I want to come back to my Herman Miller embody, which is right for my body. But the Anthros V2 was a pleasant surprise. It has been on my radar for several months, thanks to endless Instagram marketing rolls, but honestly, they made me even more skeptical.
Anthros is a newcomer to the stage, launching only the first version of the chair in 2023. He made major claims on improving your posture and the best support than office pillars like Herman Miller. This does not help that the V2 chair is north of $ 2,000, although it seems to be on sale quite often for about $ 1,900. But after almost two months of session, the statements are resisting – I find it more favorable than almost all the chairs I tested, and my posture was great. The incarnate always occupies a place in my heart, but the Anthros V2 could be the best chair for all those who seek to sharpen their posture, especially if you have faced back pain.

The Anthros chair focuses on the support of the basin, not the lumbar, similar to Aeron and embodies Herman Miller, except that he gives you much more work with composing the file. After having configured it, I received a call with a therapist of Anthros ergonomics, something that is included for each client. The therapist examines how you sit on the chair (by video call) and will make suggestions until you feel comfortable in the seat. I want each luxury chair to offer such a service.
The rear buttons on the left and to the right of the chair control the backrest system in two parts. The right button moves the lumbar folder forward and back, and the left button manages the top. I did not sit on a chair that allows you to adjust the file to this degree, and I find that it helps to adapt the chair precisely to the shape of your body. It was the superior file that took me a little time to get used to it.
The first day of the chair, I felt a little painful because I almost felt that the chair was pushing. In reality, there was no pressure, and I started to feel my back slowly resting on the backrest. It was my posture correcting; It was straight like a whistle. I also appreciate the compact design, which proves that you do not need that all your back will be retained by a folder to feel supported, a bit like the way you do not need a headrest on a desktop chair if it is well designed.
I spent a lot of time lying on this chair, and my posture has not changed. You can lock the tilt with the front left button, but I kept it unlocked on the tightest tension (via the right front button), allowing me to lean gently. I never felt uncomfortable. This could also be due to the pluche Cloudfloat headquarters, which is thicker than you find on most high -end office chairs.
My only reproach with this seat is that I found the missing depth for my 6’4 frame “. It leaves about six fingers of a gap between the edge and the back of my knee, when it should ideally be two to three. It is not a break, but I would have liked the blanket to extend closer to my knee.

There is a good degree of personalization when buying the chair. You can choose between a white or black frame, add fun back panels such as wood or specific conceptions and opt for a fabric or leather fabric. I sit on the Athlon performance fabric, which is smooth and has shown no signs of pints even after almost two months of daily use.
