This story is part of the My Unsung Hero series, by The Hidden Brain Team. He presents stories of people whose kindness has left a lasting impression on someone else.
At the end of 2020, Lara Friedman and her partner adopted a 9 -week rottweiler puppy. They affectionately named him the guy.
“”[It became] Immediately erase it [was] Soft, fun, double, protector and total goofball, “said Friedman.

Because they had no backyard, the family developed a promenade routine in the guy four times a day.
“If he [had] His way [we would] Stop and say hello to everyone on their route, especially children, “said Friedman.” And he takes his responsibility very seriously to sing with ambulance and firefighter engine. “”
Friedman and the guy were on one of these walks in July. It was their last walk of the evening, around 9:30 p.m. Suddenly, fireworks have started to go above.
“They were just above us. You could feel them,” recalls Friedman. “The guy turned around. He went into total panic mode.”
It rained earlier in the evening and the sidewalks were slippery. Friedman weighs approximately 135 pounds. The guy weighs 120 pounds. It quickly became clear that the guy was likely to hang it on the street, putting them both in a dangerous situation.

“I am standing [there] … just frozen and fireworks continue to leave. And I realized that there was no way that I could bring us home safely, “said Friedman.
At that time, a foreigner has passed. When he noticed the panic of the guy, he stopped and tried to comfort the dog. Also unusually, Friedman started to cry.
The man, whom Friedman believes presented himself as Blake, asked him if she was fine.
“” I said: “I can’t bring him home safely”, “recalls Friedman.” And he said: “Would that help if I was getting home? I can try to control him.” “
“And I said,” I feel weird to say that, but yes, it would be useful. “”
Blake entered his house and returned with another man named Bubba. Together, the three tried to struggle the guy on the sidewalk. But that didn’t work.
Thus, Blake suggested that he drive Friedman and the guy at home. Ambllé and out of options, Friedman has gratuly accepted the offer. While Blake led the car, Bubba helped Friedman hold the guy, while fireworks continued to leave above them.

The guy was terrified, but as soon as they opened the rear door of the car, he ran and jumped. Blake brought them home.
Friedman will never forget the kindness that Blake and Bubba showed him and the guy that evening.
“I do not know how this night would have proven without these two angels, who came to my rescue and to the rescue of the guy. But I am so grateful and we absolutely pay this transmission.”
