AGBU basketball coach, players headed to Armenia for competition

For Nareg Kopooshian, high school basketball coach at AGBU Canoga Park, a big summer is ahead. He will be the head coach of the Armenian U16 national team during the FIBA U16 EuroBasket competition from July 4 to 12 in Yerevan.
This is the first time that Armenia has hosted this event.
Los Angeles is home to the largest Armenian community in the United States, with up to 700,000 people.
Players selected for the training camp in Armenia include Anthony Sarkesian (Chaminade), Anthony Karayan (Village Christian), Ethan Kazanjian (AGBU), Edward Gemjian (La Canada) and Jivan Dorian (AGBU).
