American Skier Who Competed for Red China in the Olympics Injured in ‘Very Terrible’ Training Accident

Eileen Gu, the American skier who chose to join Team China at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, was injured in what is described as a “very terrible accident” during training in New Zealand.

Gu, 21, had just returned to training after another injury suffered in winter games X in January. The Californian native was transported by plane to a hospital in Christchurch to undergo medical imaging.
No details of the type or severity of the injury has been released.

Gu has also reprimanded fans and the media to film it while training due to the danger of being distracted.
“I have to focus fully during training, especially when I prepare to start, because it is very dangerous to be interrupted,” said Gu. “I also have to focus on the photo and imagination of movements on the cable car.
“To save time, I have no lunch breaks and I don’t try to use the bath as little as possible. So please don’t save or take pictures while I train. “
Gu sparkled a controversial storm in 2019 after announcing that it would compete for the country of origin of its mother, China, at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, not in the United States. His father is an American.
Gu won two gold medals in competition for China in 2022.
