Armed juvenile fighting with deputies prompts county-wide call for assistance

A countywide call for help went out early Sunday morning in Montgomery County.

Around 2:32 a.m., Harrison Township crews issued a signal 99, or countywide call for help.
Officers were initially called to the scene for two men dressed in black allegedly breaking into cars, according to a spokesperson for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

A juvenile suspect was found by police and attempted to flee.
The minor was allegedly armed and started fighting with police officers.
The juvenile was taken into custody and placed in the juvenile detention center after being examined at the hospital.
