Arkansas DB Kani Walker carted off field after suffering apparent head injury vs. Ole Miss

During a scary moment on Saturday evening in Oxford, the defensive back of the Arkansas, Kani Walker, had to be transported on the ground after having suffered an apparent head injury against Ole Miss. Walker went down on the lawn after the knee of a teammate hit him at the back of his head.

During the first game of the fourth quarter, the quarter-rear of Ole Miss Trinidad Chambliss found DEUCE Alexander on the touch line for a 35-year-old gain. Walker was on the cover on the game and Dove to make a tackle at the same time as his teammate Caleb Wooden came to help.

Wooden’s knee caught Walker in the head and neck, and Walker hit the lawn with great strength. Walker stayed on the ground for several minutes, and the medical staff returned it to the back before placing it on a stretcher and transporting it out of the field.

The two teams came to greet Walker when he was withdrawn from the field, and he was able to give the crowd a boost to the crowd. According to ESPN Siede journalist Taylor McGregor, Walker moved all his ends and was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

A senior fifth year transfer from Oklahoma, Walker has managed seven plated and three passes defended in the first two games of the Razorbacks. In 33 career games between Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisville, Walker totaled 59 plated, 13 defended passes and a pair of interceptions.
