The World Health Organization has led to the condemnation of an Israeli attack on the siege of Palestine Red Crescent Society in Gaza who killed a person and left several other injured.

The accusation of the Israeli forces of “deliberately” targeting its headquarters in the southern city of Khan Younis in the early hours of Sunday morning, the PRC – which provides emergency medical services in the besieged enclave – said in a press release that the artillery hit the upper floors of its building, which, according to him, was clearly marked with his packaging.

While the workers were trying to evacuate the building, the second floor was hit again, he said, followed by “direct bombing on the ground floor” while the rescue teams put a fire caused by the attack.

The attack killed one of its staff members, identified as Omar Isleem, and wounded two other workers, as well as a civilian who had tried to help extinguish a later fire, the PCRs said. The photos published by the PRCs seemed to show significant destruction, with debris covering the soil.

“Repeated strikes during evacuation and rescue operations clearly show that the bombing was deliberate and systematic,” said the organization.

The attack occurred in the midst of a spiral humanitarian crisis in Gaza marked by increasing famine and an increase in malnutrition deaths due to the offensive and paralyzing aid restrictions of Israel.

Meanwhile, there was an outcry in Israel after Hamas has published a video during the weekend seeming to show a visibly emaciated hostage alongside imacted babies as international fury develops on the growing death of Palestinians from famine under the restrictions of offensive and paralyzing assistance of Israel.

The unclear video that NBC News could not verify independently, seems to show Evyatar David, who was one of the approximately 250 people taken hostage during the attack on October 7, 2023 led by Hamas.

The release of the video coincided with a visit to Israel by the special envoy of President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff, who met hostage families, a week after leaving the cease-fire talks, blaming the intransigence of Hamas.

Israeli defense forces said that it “examined the assertion that a building belonging to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRC) had been damaged” and that the uninvited individuals were injured following one of his strikes.

But the director general of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, described the incident as “appalling” and called a cease-fire on Sunday in a statement on X. “We demand that attacks against health and humanitarian workers must stop,” he said.

In a separate declaration, the International Committee of the Red Cross said on Sunday that it was “unacceptable that the first stakeholders in Gaza – like Omar and the PRC staff and volunteers – will work every day by fearing not to return to their family.”

The Office of United Nations Human Rights in the occupied Palestinian territories also expressed a deep “shock and indignation” concerning the “continuous emergency killings in Gaza”.

“There must be an independent investigation into all the murders of civilians,” he said in a separate article shared on X on Sunday, noting that “the deliberate murders of humanitarian workers can constitute war crimes”.

The PRCS said on Sunday that at least 51 of its staff and volunteers, including 29 who, according to him, had been killed during his humanitarian functions, were one of the people killed since Israel launched his offensive in Gaza after October 7 led by Hamas, 2023 in which 1,200 people were killed and around 250 years have taken a hospital, marking a fatal step in a conflict decades.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, more than 60,800 people have been killed since the start of the war, with hundreds of people killed over the days, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
