NVWA to look closer at biocide residues in food

The Dutch food agency has been advised to do a survey on biocide residues in food, focusing on frequently consumed processed items.
The Office of Risk Assessment and Research (BuRO) said it is not currently possible to assess the risks of these residues to food safety because of a lack of information.
