Martha Stewart Reveals NBA Player Who Broke Her Toe

Time is up: it was New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson. The incident occurred during Game 1 of the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals, as the Knicks faced the Indiana Pacers. Martha was sitting courtside and Jalen “collapsed” onto her foot.
“I have Brunson’s fracture,” Martha said. “He stepped on my big toe with that foot.”
Martha said she knew “immediately” her toe was broken, but couldn’t properly fix it right away since the game was in overtime. Martha also revealed that she later had the privilege of revealing the incident – to Jalen’s parents.
“I told his parents,” she said. “I met his parents…And they were laughing. They thought it was so funny. All I got out of it was a signed basketball for my grandchild.”
