Bluesky seemed to have some trouble today
X Alternative Bluesky seems to have one of these days. I first noticed that my “next” flow – which is supposed to load posts chronologically – showed no more recent message than two hours earlier. I am now 728 accounts, some of which are extremely Online, so I knew something should be in place. The flow is well loaded well now and has never broken at all for some users, but Bluesky still suffers from certain residual problems.
Although Bluesky’s own service page did not report any breakdown during the incident, it now recognizes the “network disturbance” which caused “delayed certain positions of several hours”. One of my colleagues is the same problems as me, while another has seen an error message warning that “a kind of problem occurred when contacting the flow server”. Some Reddit users have also spotted problems.
Again, the flow of another colleague was very well taken care of, so whatever it is bad, it was not universal. We contacted Bluesky to comment.
Update, September 24: Bluesky seems to be (mainly) back to normal.
