Book Review: ’The Tilting House' is a novel about coming of age in Communist Cuba

“The tilting house” is an affecting and sometimes fun novel that takes place in a country that few have had the opportunity to visit, despite its proximity to the United States, explains criticism AP Anita Snow. The writer based in Miami, Ivonne Lazazares, knows his homeland well and fulfills his story of description and historical details that only a former Havana resident could provide. The story tells an orphan teenager who lives with his religious aunt in a large old house until they arrive from the United States.
