A Catholic school system employee who dreamed of killing President Donald Trump has been fired.

The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board in Ontario, Canada, confirmed to SOOToday.com this week that Cathy DiFilippo Kiley, a payroll administrator, no longer works for the system following an “internal process.” The news comes just days after her now-deleted video went viral on social media. A March 15 post from X’s LibsofTikTok about the assassination fantasy attracted more than 1.4 million views and highlighted the now-fired admin’s remark “karma is a bitch.”

“I don’t think it should be a health issue, it’s not tragic enough,” DiFilippo Kiley said. “I think it should be an infliction, as he has done to others in the United States and around the world. Remotely. Publicly. Well, maybe he’s on stage at a rally or a press conference or whatever, something, doesn’t care publicly, publicly, televised.” (RELATED: Director who celebrated Charlie Kirk’s murder gets five years for child pornography)

“Because I think in a situation like this, there’s not going to be, there’s not going to be a lot of people crying. In fact, I think the majority will be clapping,” DiFilippo Kiley continued. “I know I’m going to clap. So, karma is a bitch, and I think that’s the way things should be. I don’t think it should be peaceful, compassionate, quick and easy. Well, maybe quick and easy, but not in the context of a health event. That’s how I feel, and I’m not sorry about it.”

Trump survived an assassination attempt at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024. Gunman Thomas Crooks fired several shots at the president from a rooftop near the venue, hitting Trump’s ear and killing a member of the crowd. The assassination attempt was broadcast live during coverage of the rally by several corporate and online media outlets.

“All I can really say is that I feel really bad about everything. I deeply regret what I said and I didn’t mean to hurt or threaten anyone. That’s not who I am, and people who know me know that I’m not a hateful or violent person,” DiFilippo Kiley said in a statement to SOOToday.com about the video, which has since been deleted. “I certainly wouldn’t want to incite violence, we have enough of it in the world. I sincerely and wholeheartedly apologize to anyone I offended or upset.”

Trump survived another assassination attempt in September 2024, when a Secret Service agent opened fire on Ryan Wesley Routh, who was waiting for the Republican presidential candidate near a Palm Beach golf course.
