Chicago White Sox hit home runs early, rally late for win

Minneapolis – Colson Montgomery hit 10 circuits in August.
He started September with another long ball. Montgomery hit a solo circuit of 395 feet on the right during the second round on Monday against the Minnesota Twins. The compatriot recruit Chase Meidroth added a two -point home run later in the English Channel.
“(Meidroth) entered the canoe and he was like” guy, the circuits are sick “,” said Montgomery. “I said to myself:” Yeah, they are quite sick. “”
Despite the first pop, the Soxs found themselves following by a round in the eighth. But they gathered with consecutive doubles from RBI of Brooks Baldwin and Mike Tauchman to reach the twins 6-5 in front of 15,892 during the Labor Day at Target Field.
“I have the impression that there have been countless games where it was decided by a round,” said Montgomery. “To get one, even if we also lost our heads, and we were able to rally. In a way, we never got out.
It took a large part of the lift enclosure to win the four game series.
The SOXs used seven launchers, starting by Fraser Ellard serving as a first match. The left-hander was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte, with the interior field player Bryan Ramos, before the match on Monday.
“Many guys have a lot of confidence at the moment,” said Jordan Leason, who has collected the backup, about the performance of the LEVEUR ENCLOS. “We used almost everyone and held these guys (five) races. It’s quite awesome a launcher. ”

The SOXs took the lead at the start of the head when Montgomery dominated its second consecutive match.
“It’s just another day,” said Montgomery. “Another new opportunity. Each bat, there is just new opportunities. You never know what will happen. All you can do is come here, do your preparation, do your screening on the launchers and go out and compete.”
Montgomery is second in the team with 16 circuits.
“It is great that he has the success he has because he has put a lot of work,” said Meidroth.
The Monday Home Run leading the second sparked a three -point round. Curtis Mead followed with a single, the first of his three strokes on Monday. With a withdrawal, Meidroth struck a 395 feet on left to the left. It was his fourth home run of the year.
“I’m just trying to take a ground at the heart of the plate that I could drive,” said Meidroth. “Colson did a good job by giving the tone for us there, it was a big home run to move us forward. Curtis, good at-chauve right in front of me. He was only making lines together. ”
The twins dismissed, helped by a pair of defensive failures by the SOX. With two withdrawals in the second, Mead did not clean slow land in the third in Royce Lewis and was accused of an error. Ellard walked the following two strikers, loading the bases of Byron Buxton. Wikelman González entered and walked Buxton to bring Lewis.
Buxton doubled with two withdrawals in the fourth against the lift Cam Booser. He reached the third on wild land. The receiver Kyle Teel quickly recovered and tried to launch the third to get Buxton, but the ball sailed in the left field. Buxton marked the launch error, cutting the Sox, lead at 3-2.
The SOX responded with a race in the fifth when Baldwin doubled and scored on a simple center by Tauchman.
But Lewis dominated the management of the sixth for the Twins against Brandon Eisert, making it a match at a point. Edouard Julien doubled and was replaced by Pinch Runner Dashawn Keirssey Jr., who stole the third and scored on a sacrificial fly on the left by Buxton to equalize the score at 4.
The Twins took an advance of 5-4 on a simple RBI by Brooks Lee in the seventh against Tyler Alexander.
The Soxs returned immediately to the eighth, Baldwin and Tauchman returning. Baldwin equaled the scoring with a double RBI twice at a right center against the Justin Topa lift. Tauchman led to Baldwin with a double 3 throws later.
“These guys were embroidered, really the whole game, we felt like we had quality bats,” said manager Willable. “They went into the biggest moment there.”
The SOX (50-88) held out to win their second consecutive victory in a race after having beat the Yankees 3-2 on Sunday at the rate field. The SOXs have a 11-30 file in a race.
“The games at a race were a hot topic this year, just how we had a hard time being honest, in these situations,” said Venable. “I know that each game has a race is built differently, but being in tight games and being able to perform what you need to execute and access the finish line and get the” W “really talks about the growth of this team because we saw each other better work in these games.”
