There is a lot Strange and wonderful humanoid robots thereBut one of the most catchy machines launched this year can change its own battery – which makes it capable of operating independently for 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Walker S2 robot, manufactured by the Chinese company Ubtech, measures 5 feet 3 inches (162 centimeters) in height and weighs 95 pounds (43 kilograms) – which makes it the size and weight of a small adult.
Using a 48 -volt lithium battery in a double battery system, the robot can walk for two hours or stand for four hours before its electricity is exhausted. The battery takes 90 minutes to recharge completely exhausted.

Its most interesting characteristic – which, according to representatives of the Ubtech, is a world first – is that instead of counting on a human operator to remove and recharge its battery, the machine can perform this task entirely alone.
In new promotional images published on July 17 on YouTube, the Walker S2 robot approaches a battery charging station to exchange its power supply by battery. Faced with far from the station, he uses his arms to remove the battery installed on his back and places him in an empty slit to recharge. He then eliminates a fresh battery from the unit and the inserts in his port.
The robot will exchange its own battery in the event of a helmet one of its short energy batteries. He is also able to detect the quantity of power he has left and decides if it is better to exchange one of his batteries or loads Cnevpost.
The Walker S2, which is designed to be used in parameters such as factories or as a human robot to meet and salute customers in public places, has 20 degrees of freedom (the number of ways whose joints or mechanisms can move) and is also compatible with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
