Chris Harrison to host dating series about ‘traditional marriage’

Chris Harrison is set to return to reality TV with a new dating series on Fox Nation that will focus on “traditional marriage.”
The as-yet-unnamed series is already in the early stages of pre-production and is expected to begin casting and then filming in the coming months, Deadline reported. It will follow a group of women as they “embark on a relationship journey designed for people seeking lasting commitment,” the logline reads. “Mixing romance, real-world compatibility tests, and emotionally charged eliminations, the series reimagines modern dating through the lens of shared values, authenticity, and the purpose of marriage.”
Harrison had previously teased the series with a casting call for the project on Instagram, seeking single men and women aged 21 and over “who want a traditional, marriage-focused partnership built on commitment and shared values.”
“We’re looking for singles who believe in clear roles, long-term commitment, and building a life together — and who date with real intention,” the post continues.

Harrison’s new series is expected to premiere sometime in 2027. It will be his first show since leaving “Bachelor” Nation in 2021. He left the franchise after making racially insensitive comments while defending a former contestant, Rachael Kirkconnell, who faced backlash at the time for photos of her at an antebellum plantation-themed college party.
Harrison later apologized for his comments, calling them a “mistake,” but they still led to his departure. Before that, he hosted “The Bachelor” since its debut in 2002 as well as “The Bachelorette” and their spinoff shows.
