City Of None Is The Next Game From The Co-Creator Of Celeste

Noel Berry, co-creator of Celestialhas teamed up with his brother Liam for a new project called City without any. It’s a 2D platform game like Celestialbut it adds a bit of adventure and combat to the mix. Trailer gives me shades of indie feel Hollow Knight with its muted color palette and buggy-like characters. The Steam listing for City without any is largely aiming for a 2027 release, so we’ll unfortunately be waiting a while for this to be ready to show to the public.

Extremely OK Games, led by Noel Berry and Maddy Thorson, publishes this new creation. Last year, the company announced that it was canceling its own planned game titled Earth Blade. Given the amount of talent gathered around EXOK, it’s exciting to hear about this team bringing another project to life, even if it’s still several months away.
