Comcast’s fix for streaming service overload is in your cable box

Streaming has become a network of tangled subscriptions, and now Comcast says it can help by putting all your services in a single center. Comcast is launching a new center on its decoders, called Streamstore, where you can buy and manage subscriptions for more than 450 applications and streaming channels.
The Streamstore lives in the Xumo Stream box in Xfinity and on X1 devices. It is also available on the web and offers a collection of more than 200,000 movies and television programs to rent or buy. Xfinity will allow you to add or delete channels via the store, while pressing new subscriptions to your internet bill or monthly television, more positioning the company as a kind of streaming broker.
Other cable / telecommunications companies such as Verizon have tried to intervene as a Middleman digital subscription service, although Comcast goes further by putting this center on your TV. But is in streaming quite messy to make you need Comcast To manage it?
Some services included in the Streamstore include Netflix, Peacock, Disney Plus, Paramount Plus, Hulu, Apple TV Plus, HBO Max and more than 100 “Niche” streaming subscriptions, according to LIGHTREADING. Xfinity already offers its own Streamsaver pack, which includes a subscription to Apple TV Plus, Netflix with advertisements and the peacock plan supported by advertising for $ 15 per month.
The bundle is, of course, available via Streamstore, and Xfinity says that it plans to bring new streaming bundles, applications and “improved management and subscription activation capacities” in the future.
