The massive tax and expenditure bill at the center of President Trump’s agenda is one more step from reality.
After weeks of negotiations and 49 consecutive votes that started on Monday morning, the Senate approved the bill on the domestic policy of President Trump towards lunch time on Tuesday. He now returns to the House of Representatives where Republican President Mike Johnson will have to reconcile the Senate changes with the competing priorities of its members.
Michael Ricci has had a long career in republican policy, notably as President Paul Ryan and editor -in -chief of the speaker John Boehner. We have spoken with him the challenges and prospects of the bill in the house.
