New York police released images Friday of a woman wanted for throwing a coat hanger onto the tracks at a Brooklyn subway station.

The victim, a 58-year-old woman, was standing on the platform of the Manhattan-bound A train at the Lafayette Avenue station in Fort Greene when the suspect attacked her around 10 p.m. on Jan. 8, cops said.

Some good Samaritans helped the victim get back on the train tracks while the suspect fled the station on foot, according to law enforcement.

Police are looking for a woman with a medium complexion last seen wearing dark colored clothing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
