Cowboys Reveal Plan For Tuesday Practice vs. Rams: 'See Our Identity Come Into A Vision'

Dallas’ cowboys have been training against each other since the OTA start, but on Tuesday in Oxnard, things will be different.

The Cowboys will organize a joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams while the two teams are preparing for their first pre-season match this weekend.

Since the grinding camp has taken root, the possibility of competing against a real competition and a different team is something that head coach Brian Schoterheimer knew.

But what does he want to see joint practice?

“The execution, the physicity, the kind of our identity,” he said. “I want to see us playing intelligently, playing physical, playing with the expected effort. There will be errors, but I would like to see young guys take great steps, and I’m delighted to go against a different color jersey, but with a different diagram. It’s fun to have to change speed and do it.

“But see our identity entering a vision.”

Luck for people at the bottom of the depth table or on the bubble of the list to show coaches staff, it justifies more shots in practice and in the next pre-season games is enormous.

For Treshon Holden, Jonathan Mingo, Jaydon Blue, Nate Thomas, Jay Toia, Perrion Winfrey, Kemon Hall and more, it’s a chance to rely on the right camps they have had and do it against someone other than his teammates.

So, while yes, it’s a “practice”, do not be mistaken, Schottenheimer will watch carefully to see who is intensifying and playing games for his team. We get closer to the pre -season games – Dallas plays Rams on Saturday evening, with the QB Matthew Stafford not participating at all this week due to an injury and with Dallas QB Dak Prescott Healthy for today with a decision to be taken on the real game – and that means that the dream of the NFL for some weeks to come, while it could continue for others.

And these joint practices could very well determine the career of a handful of players, so expect Dallas to be completely gas, no brakes against Rams.
