Dave & Buster’s enters Australian market with first venue in Perth

American restaurant and entertainment operator Dave & Buster’s has entered Australia by opening its first venue in Perth.
Located in the northern suburb of Clarkson, the venue brings the company’s combination of dining, bar offerings and arcade-style gaming to Perth’s northern corridor.
The move expands the brand’s international presence, following recent openings in the Dominican Republic, the Philippines and India.
Dave & Buster’s now operates approximately 250 locations in North America, the Philippines, India and the Dominican Republic under its two main brands.
The launch in Perth is part of a wider international expansion, with further locations planned in Asia and Latin America throughout this year, including New Delhi and Mexico City.
Antonio Bautista, International President of Dave & Buster, said: “We continue to see strong global demand for immersive social entertainment experiences.
“Perth represents an exciting opportunity in Western Australia. Clarkson is a thriving and growing community, making it a great location to showcase our unique experience to everyone.”
The Perth opening was supported by local operator NightOwl.
Described as one of Australia’s largest hospitality and entertainment groups, NightOwl has operated a national portfolio of pubs, clubs and entertainment venues since 2008.
David Heaton, CEO of NightOwl, said: “We are proud to introduce Dave & Buster’s to Clarkson and the greater Perth community.
“This concept offers a unique blend of dining, beverage and competitive social gaming that we believe will quickly become a premier destination in the region.” »
