Dayton football holds off 2nd half rally to win at Morehead State

The University of Dayton held a furious rally of the second half by Morehead State, but prevailed, 35-28, Saturday.

Dayton led 28-0 at halftime, but the Eagles scored 28 points in the third quarter for the same score at 28-28.

Mason Hackett marked the touch with 1:46. His first race below sealed the match with less than a minute to play.

UD improves at 4-1 in total, 2-0 in the Pioneer Football League.
