DeGrom pitches 6 strong innings, Seager snaps homer drought in Rangers’ 6-2 victory over Pirates

PITTSBURGH (AP) – Jacob Degrom withdrew seven rounds in six rounds, Corey Seager has hit his first circuit since May 10 and the Texas Rangers have beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-2 Friday evening.

DEGROM (7-2) withdrew the first 11 strikers and granted two points and five strokes in six rounds with a walk. One day after his 37th anniversary, the double winner of the Cy Young Award extended his franchise record at 12 consecutive departures to authorize two or less points and five strokes of or less.

After being injured for most of the last four seasons, Degrom is 3-0 with an MPM of 1.80 in four departures of June.

Seaager achieved a withdrawal in the fifth round off the Mike Burrows recruit (1-2), a journey to the right field to increase the advance of the Rangers to 4-2. The All-Star Copstrame on five times had made 81 appearances on the plates without Home Run while also being on the list of injuries from May 11 to 27 with a right-stretched ischi-leg.

Burrows lasted 4 2/3 innings and granted four points in seven strokes.
