DJI Power 1000 Mini launch: 1,008Wh battery in a compact size.

DJI is on a roll with portable power. We’re all enamored by the ability to go off-grid without wasting power and DJI helps us get there. A portable power station is ideal for camping, powering the projector in the garden this summer, or for use during a power outage. They are also useful for content creators who tend to go off-grid for their projects.
DJI has long been a favorite brand among creators, and they keep up with the world of portable power. The brand has just launched the DJI Power 1000 Mini which is small only in terms of its size. It packs a respectable 1,0008 Wh of capacity, but its physical size is almost half that of the original DJI Power 1000 and is smaller than the DJI Power 1000 V2. It weighs about 25 pounds, so it’s definitely ultra portable. Maximum power is rated at 1000W.

Notable Features of the DJI Power 1000 Mini
DJI has made some interesting additions to this new model compared to previous versions. For starters, there’s a light bar at the bottom, which I love. It makes a big difference to have a built-in light when you’re climbing stairs with a power station or moving it around a dark campsite.
DJI also added a retractable USB-C cable with 100W output, which feels like a real luxury. DJI also makes all of its portable power stations particularly user-friendly for content creators, and the new Power 1000 Mini is no different. DJI drone owners have access to an SDC port to quickly charge the drone’s batteries.
Another content creator-friendly element is the noise level of the DJI Power 1000 Mini. The brand notes that when charging in standard mode, it will reach around 30 decibels, which should be quiet enough for sleeping or recording content nearby without interruption.
How to buy the DJI Power 1000 Mini in the US
Since last December, DJI has faced an FCC ban on DJI drones. Since then, the company has struggled to introduce new products into the country. This appears to be the fate of the DJI Power 1000 Mini. For now, at least.

Earlier this month, when DJI launched the new Osmo Pocket 4, a DJI spokesperson told Mashable that the company was still waiting for FCC approval to sell the device in the United States. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to get your hands on the DJI Power 1000 Mini in the United States. However, switching to the brand’s Canadian site prices the station in USD and lists it at $467.
We’ll keep this page updated as soon as we hear information about a US launch.
