Excitement in the Air As Next State Announces Its Own Version of Alligator Alcatraz – RedState

Shortly after the beginnings of “Alligator Alcatraz” in Florida, the secretary of the DHS, Kristi Noem, said that other states had expressed their interest in possibly creating their own installations which temporarily house illegal immigrants who were to be expelled in their country of origin.

“We have had several other states that really use Alligator Alcatraz as a model for the way they can also associate with us,” shared Noem during a press conference in mid-July, also revealing that “I have conversations in progress with five other governors about the facilities they can have”.

And with the federal government by now building one in Texas which will contain 5,000 beds, speculation has reached a high level as to the state or the states that would follow suit. Could it be the Nebraska? Louisiana? Arizona? Noem said this week that these three in particular have locations that would allow maximum efficiency, similar to that of Florida.

But if it is quite possible that we can see installations in these states in the near future, another state made it official on Tuesday, the DHS announcing that Indiana will have one in its Miami correctional establishment.

As the Fox News National Correspondent revealed, Bill Melugin, on his X flow:

DHS confirms to @FoxNews that the next “Alligator Alcatraz” will be in the state of the Indiana at the Correctional Installation of Miami and will be described as “Speedway Slammer”. The DHS says that it will increase the detention capacity of 1,000 -bed ice, will house some of the “worst” criminal “worst”, and it will be in partnership with the Governor of Indiana Mike Braun.

Noem also published a declaration on X concerning the partnership:

Today, we are announcing a new partnership with the state of Indiana to extend the detention space of 1,000 beds. Thanks to @govbraun for its partnership in order to withdraw the worst from the worst in our country.

If you are illegally in America, you could end up in the Indiana Speedway Slammer. Avoid arrest and self-speed now using the Home @CBP application.

Governor Braun also confirmed the news in a press release published by DHS:

“We are proud to work with President Trump and Secretary Noem as they delete the worst of the worst with this innovative partnership. Indiana adopts a complete and collaborative approach to combat illegal immigration and will continue to show the way between states. ”

The Florida Attorney General, James Uthmeier, whose idea was to create the Everglades’ detention center better known as the Alligator Alcatraz, applauded news from Indiana, writing that “following the Florida plan, states can help Trump administration to hold, deport and deliver to the American people!”

There would also be a second installation in the current Sunshine state.

After Indiana, what state will be the next one?

Publisher’s note: Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration to our large country has practically stopped. Despite the lies of the radical left, new legislation was not necessary to guarantee our border, just a new president.
